The Westminster Foundation is an independent grant-making organisation representing the charitable activities of the Duke of Westminster and Grosvenor businesses. It focuses on early intervention by partnering with local charities to provide long-term, sustainable support for vulnerable children, young people, and their families.

Royal Town Planning Institute North West delivers services and support for planners in the North West of England and acts as a local champion for planning. The region covers Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside and the Isle of Man.

Regenda Homes is a North‑West housing association. It manages over 13,000 affordable and supported homes, providing safe, sustainable communities and additional resident support services. It works to improve places and create chances for people to grow and succeed. As a fellow subsidiary of the Regenda Group, it’s brilliant to partner with them for the Tenants’ Voice project.

Oscar is a fundamental partner in our Tenants’ Voice project, backed by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. Having created the original tool for private tenants, he brings extensive technical and AI product expertise to the project. This will ensure success in our innovative approach to improving social housing residents’ experience and strengthening the tenant voice.

Positive Footprints is passionate about changing the lives of children and young people. They produce award-winning career-led personal development programmes to raise aspirations, build resilience and self-esteem, and help children and young people explore the world of work.

Also part of the Regenda Group, Positive Footprints and Community Threads work together to develop our children-focussed programmes. This includes our first programme, Aspirations Days, which is an experiential day version of their classroom-based Raising Aspirations programme.

LSE Housing and Communities is a research group within the Centre for Analysis of Social Exclusion (CASE) at the London School of Economics, led by our former Chair and Founder, Professor Anne Power. it examine different areas of social disadvantage and the impact of public policy, with expertise in researching social housing conditions, community and neighbourhood issues, and urban problems.

LSE Housing and Communities is a long-term partner of the charity working together on numerous projects. Running the hugely successful Housing Plus Academy together, largely from Trafford Hall, residents, landlords, community organisations and local government were brought together on an equitable platform to tackle key issues within the social housing sector. Whilst Housing Plus Academy is now managed exclusively by LSE Housing and Communities, we’re delighted to continue to work together across other projects, including the current Tenants’ Voice project.

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government is the UK government department responsible for national policy on housing, planning, and local government, shaping how places grow and communities thrive. It is central to the mission-driven government, from fixing the foundations of an affordable home to handing power back to communities and rebuilding local governments.

Community Threads was thrilled to be one of twenty organisations selected to receive funding from the MHCLG’s Social Housing Innovation Fund. The fund will test ‘bold new ideas that give tenants clearer and faster ways to talk to and influence their landlords’. This is part of the Government’s wider objective to improve tenants’ experiences in social housing and empower them to voice their concerns when things go wrong.

It is a UK-wide sustainable business marketplace, connecting local companies and resources county by county to drive collaboration, ethical procurement and greener economic growth. Energy for Tomorrow is an independent not‑for‑profit organisation, established by Centrica. It supports community projects that reduce carbon emissions and help drive an equitable transition to net zero.

This fantastic organisation generously funded our first series of Shaping Sustainable Futures Youth programmes and has kindly been supporting the Charity across other projects ever since.

Ecogee is a North West retrofit and renewable‑energy specialist. It delivers energy‑efficiency upgrades – such as insulation, heating improvements and solar solutions – for housing providers, local authorities, developers, and homeowners. The team has been an invaluable support at all youth programme Career Carousels and children’s Aspirations Days.
